Yaletown
Yaletown perfectly blends old and new, and retains its industrial charm while embracing a modern, stylish vibe. What was once home to factories, warehouses, and rail yards has now evolved into a residential neighborhood after going through a major transformation during the 1986 World Exposition (Expo ‘86). Today, it’s one of Vancouver’s most densely populated areas.
Nestled between Robson Street and Homer Street, with False Creek to the south, Yaletown is easily accessible via the Canada Line SkyTrain, with the Yaletown-Roundhouse station right in the heart of the neighborhood. Yaletown offers a range of dining options, from celebratory seafood dinners to relaxed bistro meals. The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, with its two stylish indoor levels and a central rooftop bar, is a popular spot.
Given how trendy it is, Yaletown is home to some fantastic bars and pubs. The Yale Saloon offers country music, blues, and BBQ, and line dancing on weekends.
